Coral Reef Finfish:
Closures apply for the fin fishery East and South of the tip of Cape York, for coral reef fin fish to aid spawning.
Coral reef fin fish include, coral trout, Cod, Emperors, and Nannygai.
The closures for 2008 will be:
1. 22nd October - 30th October (inclusive)
2. 21st November - 29th November (inclusive)
3. 21st December - 29th December (inclusive)
Barramundi:
On Cape York and the east coast, there is a closed season for Barramundi.
East Coast: Between November 1st (midday), and February 1st (midday), 2009
Gulf of Carpentaria: Between October 7th (midday), and February 2nd (midday), 2009
